I am currently a Software Engineer working in the area of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and I also maintain the JQC website.
Previously, I was the Teaching Support Officer for the School of Mathematics & Statistics at Newcastle University. I completed my PhD at Newcastle under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Barenghi, working on bifurcations in forced Taylor-Couette flow. After that, I worked briefly at DAMTP in Cambridge, where I developed a Fortran 90 code parallelised with MPI to solve the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in 3D.
I was responsible for the School's computer based assessment system, general system administration, website development, and IT support.
