I have recently submitted my thesis titled 'Feshbach spectroscopy of an ultracold Rb-Cs mixture' having finished working on the mixture experiment with Michael Köppinger, Danny McCarron and Simon Cornish.  The long term goal of the project is the creation of ground state heteronuclear molecules.

I was brought up in a large village called Sherburn-in-Elmet in North Yorkshire and attended Sherburn High School and Sixth Form College. I studied for a Masters degree in physics here in Durham, my final year project being involved with perturbation theory of a many-electron system.

My interests away from physics include football, running, triathlon and music
