I work on the three-photon experiment in Cesium vapour with my supervisor Prof Charles Adams and postdoc Dr Kevin Weatherill. Currently I am studying the properties of highly excited Rydberg states in extremely thin atomic samples. I was brought up in nearby Sunderland and obtained my A Level's from Durham Johnston Sixth Form. At Durham University I obtained an integrated Masters degree in Physics. My final year research project was based on single site addressability in an optical lattice and supervised by Prof Charles Adams and Dr Simon Gardiner.
